About Us
ECLIPSE Plasma Cutting, llc. is located in the small college town of Oxford, Ohio. The owner / operator of the business (Kevin Combs) has worked in a variety of high tech manufacturing facilities around the world (Michigan, California, Ohio and China) for over 40 years. This exposure to diverse cultures has led to his ability to design and create new machinery and tools for those respective industries. With a history of engineering, these inventions have enabled him to creatively produce many unique solutions to obstacles of progress.
With our new CNC Plasma Cutting Table, we have the capacity to cut sheets and plates up to 5’-1” wide by 9’-9” long, fully automated, up to 1” thickness. The type of material can be anything that conducts electricity; E.g. Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Mild Steel, Hardened Steel, Copper, Brass, etc. Our target market is the general public for interior decorations, home owners for outdoor yard decorations and house addresses, machine shops for producing high volume parts for “added value manufacturing”, any other manufacturing facility looking for precision cut parts for fabrication.
Other capabilities include welding; MIG, TIG, STICK, Spool Gun MIG for Aluminum, etc. We also have a small press break for bending sheet metal, a small shear for cutting sheet metal, a small roller for adding curves to sheet metal. Additionally, we have the standard small shop equipment and tools to achieve a large variety of tasks required in most machine shops.
When Kevin is not working, he and his wife enjoy gardening, volunteering in the community and playing with and walking their 2 sweet chihuahua dogs.
Kevin always makes every attempt to answer phone calls and reply to emails as soon as possible since he believes that our customers come first and deserve our utmost respect. He pays close attention to the details of the customer’s business requests.
